Rocio Pro won the Morisawa Award Bronze Prize and Akashi Award in the Latin Category at the Morisawa Type Design Competition 2014 (it was then called Kulin). Its soft strokes and ink gains at the terminals are evocative of its name Rocio (meaning dew in Spanish) and create an gentle and expressive feel. Many of the decorative glyphs, such as swashes, are included in Italic for a wide range of expressions.
