Yu Mincho is a subdued serif type family developed with the concept of a "serif for composing historical novels." Its balanced space between characters, rounded terminals, and soft curves create a clear and elegant look. The family comes in six weights from Light to Extra Bold. The Bold and Extra Bold have a different structure from that of other weights for use in headlines, with their smaller counters bringing the characters a more compact appearance.
