A serif typeface for texts, “FB Poynter Oldstyle Text” was created in response to the need for efficient use of space, excellent readability, and tolerance for a variety of printing conditions. The typeface has a slightly high x-height, slightly more blackness, and an elegance and calmness that add to its readability. The current version contains small caps and Oldstyle numbers. Originally made for the newspaper text, “FB Poynter Oldstyle Text” is well suited for a variety of applications including texts in books and magazines.
