Features of Ryumin

"Ryumin" is a standard Ming-cho typeface, based on and named after the Morikawa Ryobundo Ming-cho typeface. While it uses the sharpness of chiseled type in the left and right Harai (tapered strokes) and dots, the end points and Uroko (serifs) of both horizontal and vertical strokes have a softness which gives the typeface a friendly feel. The typeface is well acknowledged for the beauty of its balanced flow, and has a wide range of uses for standard DTP composition, from body text to headlines.
