“UD Shin Maru Go” is a Universal Design typeface which makes it possible to carefully present the characteristic gentle image of round Gothic. As with UD Shin Go NT, it employs clean and clear Kana character shapes. Letters of the alphabet and numerals have a sense of unity with UD Shin Go, and its simple design is difficult to misinterpret. As a medium that Universal Design takes into consideration, it is targeted at scenarios where familiarity and easy readability are required.
