Features of Zócalo Text

Zócalo is a serif typeface series drawing inspiration from late 17th-century old-style Roman and early 20th-century newspaper fonts. The robust proportions, reminiscent of newspaper type, improve readability at small point sizes, while at larger sizes, the lively handwritten details shine through. In addition to Zócalo Text for body text, the series offers Display, a more vibrant and compact style for headlines and subheadlines, as well as Banner, which simplifies some of the elements found in Display.
